According to the Busan Saha Police Station on the 5th, the police recently arrested Mr. A, a man in his 30s, on charges of adultery and prostitution by force in the workplace.
Mr. A is accused of taking Mr. B (19), a repeat student, to a kissing room and committing sexual violence in a coercive manner.
According to the police investigation and the testimony of Mr. B’s acquaintances, Mr. B posted his resume on an online recruitment and job search site last April. A police official said, “(Mr. A) continued to deny the crime and there were concerns about the destruction of evidence, so we detained him,” and added, “It is difficult to reveal the specific details of the investigation.”
Meanwhile, two kissing room operators in their 30s, who are believed to have supplied women from Mr. A, were also booked without detention on charges of violating the Employment Security Act and are being investigated.
It was confirmed that the owner of the kissing room had registered as a telecommunications business operator and had been operating illegally as if he were another business.
