Liverpool’s ‘legend’ Jamie Carragher ‘slashes’ at Harry Kane (Tottenham). It’s not something a star would do. What happened?
Tottenham drew 1-1 against Everton in the 29th round of the English Premier League (EPL) in the 2022-23 season held at Goodison Park on the 4th.
Controversy arose over Kane’s ‘overaction’ in this match. In the 14th minute of the second half, during the ball competition, Everton’s Abdoulaye Ducoure hit Harry Kane in the face, and Kane fell while clutching his face. In the end, Ducoure was sent off. In response, local media criticized Kane for taking an excessive action to the extent that he deserved an ‘Oscar Award’.
Carragher was also displeased with this scene.
He said through the UK’s ‘Sky Sports’,온라인바카라 “What I want to say is not about a red card. If you put your hand on someone’s face, it’s a red card. But did Kane really have to take such an excessive action? It’s embarrassing.”
He continued, “I wouldn’t do that as a player. A lot of people were disappointed. If I did that on the pitch, everyone would be embarrassed. Kane, don’t do that again.”
